WHAT CLIENTS SAY

Austin Thompson

Thompson Management Consulting LLC

I was honored to have Maxine Barnett, Soft Skills Coach & Trainer, to facilitate a presentation for the attendees during the 8th Annual Entrepreneurship and Small Business Summit, a virtual webinar and speaker series for 2021.  Her presentation, entitled Leveraging Soft Skills for Business Success was immensely successful and the attendees were appreciative of her masterful delivery.  The presentation covered important topics such as differentiating between soft skills and hard skills, the importance of enhancing one’s soft skills, how do soft skills impact your brand and sales, maintaining and retaining customers using soft skills, among many other value-added discussion points.

Ms. Barnett was poised and professional in her preparation and delivery, and I am deeply thankful for her participation in the virtual webinar series. This topic is an important addition to the toolkit of business owners who seek to improve their overall brand, build a committed customer base, and increase revenues especially as they prepare to emerge from a challenging business climate resulting from the global COVID-19 pandemic.

I would certainly invite her to facilitate future presentations, virtual or in-person, for either the Entrepreneurship and Small Business Summit or Thompson Management Consulting, LLC and strongly recommend Ms. Barnett as a Speaker, Coach or Trainer on matters of Soft Skills.

Past President - Association of Female Executives of Trinidad and Tobago

Maxine Barnett is a Certified International Protocol Specialist. She facilitated a Protocol Program for the Board of Directors of the Association of Female Executives of Trinidad and Tobago (AFETT) during my tenure as President. She also provided Event Protocol training to our events team for our annual International Women's Day Women of Influence Awards Ceremony, which hosted Ministers of Government and the wife of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.

She prepared the team to manage the protocol elements of the event including how to meet, greet, address and handle dignitaries. I can attest to her professionalism, organisational skills and knowledge as a subject matter expert. It is my firm belief that this kind of training as facilitated by Ms. Barnett is an essential part of the toolkit for every business leader and corporate executive.
